I have a new short story out from The Sunday Morning Transport, an SFF outlet I’ve long been a fan of. They put out consistently great stories every week, and this week, I’m so pleased to have my words on their page.
Because I’ve been working on novel projects, it’s been a while since my last short story, and the creative gear shift that this piece required was a necessary and welcome reminder. This one made me rediscover my love of writing in that length and mode.
It also made me feel a lot of things. For one, it made me feel more connected to nature, to our built environment, and most importantly, to people, especially those outside my own little bubble. I hope that you enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it.
